Katie Hannagan Softball Instructor
Katie is the Head Coach at Finlandia University in the UP of Michigan. Katie will be back periodically this fall/winter so book your lessons in advance to make sure you have a spot with Katie.
Katie was an assistant to Head Coach Amanda Jensen at University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. Hannagan joined the USF coaching staff in the fall of 2012 after an impressive collegiate career at Olivet Nazarene University. Hannagan was a member of the ONU softball team from 2009-12 and helped lead the Tigers to a 191-60 record, three CCAC regular season and tournament championships, as well as three NAIA National Championship Tournament appearances. The Tigers averaged over 47 wins per year and were ranked in the Top 25 in each of her four seasons.
Hannagan was a two-time NFCA All-Great Lakes Region selection as a Tiger. She was also a two-time All-CCAC pick, and was named CCAC Pitcher of the Year in both 2011 and 2012. At the time of her graduation, Hannagan’s name appeared in eight different pitching records lists at ONU. She finished her career ranking third in career games pitched (129) and base on balls average (1.21), ranking fourth in games started (109), complete games (88), innings pitched (738.2), and ranking fifth in career shutouts (21). Hannagan posted a career win/loss record of 87-28 with a .756 winning percentage. She excelled off the field as well, earning NAIA and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors as a junior and senior. She was also a three-time Academic All-CCAC selection.
Hannagan, a native of Monee, Ill., graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in the spring 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, along with a minor in Physical Education
